What is wireless broadband?
We use equipment to get the wireless signal to your location using special Radio`s. It is similar to what you may see at WIFI hotspots like starbucks.
Do I need a special kind of computer?
Nope! Any computer that supports TCP/IP will work just fine.
Do I need a firewall? If I do, will you provide one?
Yes, you definitely need a firewall. Echo Wireless will provide a firewall if you don't have one, however you may need your own if special configurations are needed. Feel free to contact us for more information.
Does Echo Wireless support VPN?
Yes! We support site to site VPN, remote access, IPSEC, SSL and PPTP.
Is wireless secure?
Yes again! We use several methods to ensure that all data traveling over the Echo network is safe and encrypted.
Does Echo provide spam and antivirus protection?
Yes! Both are included for your email account. We also recommend using software installed on your local machine. Free versions can be downloaded below.
